Hi Kathryn! Welcome to planDisney.
Your question brought a smile to my face because I've been working today to plan a very special birthday visit to the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts for my husband! We both love all things
Broadway plus all the festival food and drink, so this seems like the perfect place for our family to celebrate. I'm glad to hear you're planning alongside me!
I remember meeting artist Larry Dotson in the Norway pavilion a few years ago, and the print we purchased (and that he gracefully signed for us) has a place of honor in our home. It's so special to meet the creative people who bring Disney to life for us, and I'm happy to help you make your plans to see Stephen Fishwick at the festival. His "Colorful Personalities" painting of the Fab Five is wonderful!
It looks like the Disney Fine Art lineup isn't quite finalized, Kathryn. I would recommend keeping an eye on the
Schedule of Festival Appearances, which is being updated regularly in the lead-up to the festival. Scroll down to "Artist Galleries and Festival Merchandise" and look for "Participating Artists" under "Artist Galleries" and click the link to see the schedule.
It's also a good idea to follow @Disney_Fine_Art on Twitter or find them on Facebook. Stephen Fishwick has an artist page on Facebook and a webpage; I didn't see a schedule of appearances on his webpage, but you could sign up for his newsletter to stay up-to-date. I always recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog for news, updates, and great planning advice - once the holiday season is over, they'll begin to share more updates about the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which runs from January 14, 2022 until February 21, 2022.
I'm sending paint-splattered pixie-dust that you get an announcement soon with dates for Mr. Fishwick. Thank you for stopping by with your question, and please come back and see us again! Have a fantastic time at the festival.
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
