Interested in the Dine with an Imagineer, my children will be 11 & 7, are they too young? is there a big difference between the lunch at The Brown Derby and the dinner at The Flying Fish?

Hello there Sandi!  Dine with an Imagineer is an incredible experience for any Disney fan and I highly recommend anyone who wants a behind the scenes look to reserve this dining experience.  The only difference between dining at The Brown Derby or The Flying Fish (besides location and time) is that at The Brown Derby you are seated in the private Bamboo Room, where at The Flying Fish you are seated toward the back corner of the restaurant.  The private room at The Brown Derby made it feel like a much more intimate conversation.  This event typically lasts around three hours so when deciding to take children, I would consider their attention span.  Most of the conversation might be a bit too technical for a 7 year old.  Since there are so many types of Imagineers, you never know where the conversation might take you.  While a 11 year old may enjoy hearing some of the behind the scenes workings of Disney, a 7 year old will probably become restless very quickly.  I would recommend trying this experience with your children when they are a little bit older.  If you are looking for a really fun dining experience that the whole family will enjoy I suggest trying The Hoop Dee Do Musical Review, it is a favorite of my families and pleases everyone in the whole group.  Let us know Sandi if there is anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!

    Best Wishes!
