I was interested in converting dvc points to reservation points in order to book a club level room. How do I know how many reservation points are required per night ?

    Hi Alfred,

Welcome home, and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for bringing your question over to us today, it’s great to see you here! I love getting to help fellow Disney Vacation Club Members make the most of their membership.

One of my favourite things about my membership is the flexibility to use my Vacation Points across different resorts and room types. One of the many options members eligible for Membership Extras have is to convert them into Reservation Points for use in reserving hotel rooms across the Disney Collection at Disney Destinations around the world.

One vacation point is equal to one reservation point. Keep in mind that once converted, Reservation Points cannot be reverted back to Vacation Points. They must also be used within the same Use Year they are converted, and there is a transaction fee of $95 at the time of writing this - which is waived for eligible members who have opted into Membership Magic Beyond (Please note prices and offers are subject to change).

Alfred, let's talk Club Level! You can use Vacation Points to book Club Level accommodations at eight Deluxe Resorts, and even at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which is a Moderate Resort offering a Club Level experience. The Disney Vacation Club website has the most up-to-date points charts for these stays.

Did you know there is a club-level option within the Disney Vacation Club portfolio, too? You can use your regular Vacation Points to book at the Kilimanjaro Club Concierge level at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House. There would be no need to convert your points, and you can book using the usual booking tool.

I hope this helps answer your question, Alfred. If you have any more questions, please reach out to me, I'd love to help.

    Have a magical day!
    Matt
