Hello! I am interested in booking a WDW trip and I saw you can get free water park entry. Would I be able to gift the free water park tickets to a friend whose name isn’t on the ticket? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Jessica, welcome to planDisney!

Walt Disney World Resort offers a truly unforgettable experience for Guests of all ages. From its four incredible theme parks to the shopping and dining haven of Disney Springs, there's something for everyone. Add to that the diverse array of Disney Resorts Collection hotels designed to suit every budget and the complimentary transportation that makes navigating the magic seamless, and you've got the perfect recipe for a fantastic trip. And, of course, we can't forget Disney's two incredible water parks, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach!

Complimentary water park admission offered as part of a special promotion is tied to the Guest(s) on the primary reservation and cannot be transferred. However, your friend can still join in on the fun! They can purchase their water park ticket by visiting the Water Park Tickets page on the Walt Disney World website. Additionally, I recommend checking the Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts page to see if there are any promotions available that could make their visit even more affordable.

Depending on when you visit, you'll get to enjoy one of Disney's two unique water parks. At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, check out Miss Adventure Falls, an exhilarating family raft ride perfect for all ages, and Crush' n' Gusher, a thrilling water coaster. For a delicious meal, head to Leaning Palms, where you can enjoy a variety of tasty options. If you want a refreshing cocktail, try the tropical drinks at the Let's Go Slurpin'. For an elevated experience, consider renting a Beachcomber Shack, a private cabana that offers shade, comfortable seating, and personalized service.

If Blizzard Beach is open during your stay, you're in for a frosty treat! Summit Plummet is a must for thrill-seekers, boasting one of the world's tallest and fastest free-fall body slides. For a more relaxed pace, Cross Country Creek, the park's lazy river, is perfect for floating along. When it's time to eat, Lottawatta Lodge offers a variety of hearty meals to refuel. Frostbite Freddy's is a great spot to grab a cocktail and cool off. A Polar Patio rental provides a private space with lounge chairs, towels, and a cooler stocked with ice and bottled water for added luxury.

I hope this helps answer your question, Jessica. I also hope you and your friend can enjoy the water parks together during your Walt Disney World vacation. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions as you plan your trip.
