Hey Kaitlyn!
Welcome to planDisney! The
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Cruise has become a vacation tradition for my family. I think it’s a great option for the vacation days that we spend by the Resort pool or not in a theme park, because we still enjoy the magic of Happily Ever After without a park ticket.
When you book the Fireworks Cruise online, you’ll book “1” cruise for up to 10 Guests. You do not need to specify the number of Guests or their ages. If you book online, the departure is scheduled from the Boat Nook Marina at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, but if you’d like to leave from a marina at
Polynesian or
Grand Floridian Resort, you can call the
"Tours and Recreation" number to make the change. You could also use that phone number to book your Fireworks Cruise.
For my most recent Fireworks Cruise, I received a phone call about 24 hours before to confirm our information and any special needs for our party. During this time, I was also able to request a special banner to decorate the boat as we were celebrating an engagement. The cruise includes complimentary snacks, like chips and soft drinks, but we were also allowed to bring our own drinks if we wanted.
I hope this helps, Kaitlyn! The Fireworks Cruise is one of my favorite
Enchanting Extras. You’ve got me planning one for my next vacation, maybe at
EPCOT for Luminous The Symphony of Us! If you have any more questions, come back to
see me at planDisney!
