I am interested in booking the largest pontoon boat to be able to view the fireworks for my parents 50th wedding anniversary in April I would love it if someone could help me out

Hi Dani! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking this great question. I'm happy to help!

50 years of Happily Ever After! ChEARS to your parents! Our family celebrated my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary this past year by doing the same thing. For this magical celebration, you can reserve a Specialty Cruise from the Enchanting Extras Collection. This fireworks cruise will be aboard a 25-foot pontoon boat that seats up to 10 guests and a captain will accompany you. You can reserve this cruise to view Harmonious at EPCOT, which departs from Bayside Marina at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. This is the cruise our family booked and I can't begin to tell you how amazing this experience was. We cruised around Crescent Lake and then had an up-close view of the fireworks. You could also opt to see Disney Enchantment which departs from several different marinas near Magic Kingdom Park. The cruise includes assorted snacks, bottled water, and soft drinks and you are allowed to bring alcohol onboard if you wish. You can even request a "Happy Anniversary" banner and balloons, which are included in the cost. This incredible, memorable experience can be reserved up to 60 days before your arrival. These Speciality Cruises are popular, so I suggest setting a reminder on your calendar so you are prepared to call on the morning your reservation window opens.

A tip I have for you is to also plan a special dinner on the evening of your cruise. You can also make advanced dining reservations up to 60 days before your arrival date. The arrival time for the cruise is one hour and fifteen minutes prior to fireworks time, so you will want to plan the start time of your dinner to begin about three hours before this. There are many great restaurants located within the EPCOT and Magic Kingdom resort areas that would place you closer to the marina you are departing from.

I hope this information helps with your planning. This was a core memory for my family and ranks at the top of the many memorable things we have done at the Walt Disney World Resort. I know it will be such a special memory for your family too!

If you have more planning questions before you arrive for this special celebration, please visit us again at planDisney. We would love to help you plan your vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Happy Planning!
    Smiles,
    Lisa
