Hello, I am interested in booking a Disney World stay and Disney cruise for late December. Are these available options right now?

    Hi Angela!

What could be better than a Walt Disney World vacation? Or how about a Disney cruise? You might say, “Nothing!” Well, there is something that’s even more magical if that is possible...and it’s a Disney Cruise Line land AND sea vacation! That was totally a trick question, but I'd say that both of these combined do make a perfect pairing.

Fortunately, this is exactly what you are DREAMing about experiencing in December. Guess what? You absolutely can make reservations NOW for a combination Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line vacation for later this year and even beyond! (Currently, Disney cruise itineraries are available through May 2022.) The only caveat of course is that we are not sure precisely when Captain Mickey will be casting off the bow lines and setting sail. My fingers and toes are all crossed that it will happen very soon, but they are also wanting to make sure that the health and safety of Guests and crew are the highest priority.

You can either contact a Travel Agent to handle both sides of the vacation or you may contact a Disney Vacation Specialist to work on the Walt Disney World component and then contact Disney Cruise Line to add the cruise element to your plans (or vice versa). Since you have certain dates in mind already, check out the available cruise itineraries on the Disney Cruise Line website, your desired stateroom(s), and what you'd like to do while at sea and in those amazing ports. My favorite one is Castaway Cay, which has some phenomenal excursions that are high-energy and thrilling like parasailing and jet boat rides. But you also can choose to sit on a lounger all day and that's a delightful way to spend the day, too!

Here’s a planDisney tip: do the parks first and the Disney cruise second. I’ve heard feedback from friends saying that is their preferred order so they can focus more on relaxation at sea to end their vacation. All of us at planDisney love to dole out advice since we have had many years of planning experience with our families and friends. So as you plan this epic land-sea vacation, keep sending us any and all planning questions you can imagine!
