I am interested in booking a 7 day trip for a family of 5 - Myself (mom), my husband (step dad), my ex husband (dad) and our two kids -- girl, age 15 at time of trip and boy, age 12 at time of trip. We want the full experience please contact me to help!

    Hello Elaine! Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you're giving your kids the best vacation possible by including everyone who is most important to them! I love it! Also, seeing that you're planning to travel during the holiday season is going to make this memorable vacation even more magical! I visited Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season for the first time last year and I was absolutely blown away by the "dialed up" decorations around the Theme Parks and in the Resorts.

While we here at planDisney can certainly help with any planning questions you may have about your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World I am a regular Guest (just like you!) and will happily point you in the right direction to book your trip! By calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line at (407) 939-1936 you'll be able to speak with a Cast Member who can assist you in making your Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest room reservations.

If you're looking for more in-depth planning advice you may also want to turn to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  A quick internet search should provide you with some great agents who will help you decide on Resorts, Advance Dining Reservations, and even any Enchanting Extras you might want to add to your trip, like Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise or a stop at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Savi's Workshop to build your very own lightsabers!  These Authorized Disney Vacation Planners come at no cost to you and have been trained by Disney, so you know you're being well taken care of!

Since you mentioned wanting the "full experience" I definitely suggest booking a room "on property" at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.  Staying at one of these Resorts puts you inside the magic for the entirety of your stay, making you really feel like you've been sprinkled with pixie dust!  Staying at a Disney Resort also comes with benefits like Early Theme Park Entry and even pop-up character experiences at random times of day! You never know what surprises are around every corner!

I would also look into purchasing Theme Park Tickets that include a Park Hopper Option.  With this option you and your family will be able to visit more than one Theme Park each day, making the most of every moment! My family and I love to "rope drop" (arrive before the Park even opens!) at one Park in the morning, head back to our Resort for a refreshing swim in the afternoon, and then arrive at another Park for a dinner reservation and fireworks, like Disney Enchantment, in the evening! We know there is SO much to do and we love breaking up the day so we don't get worn out.

Elaine, please make sure to stop by and see us again as you continue planning this dream vacation for you and your family! It sounds like it's sure to be amazing!

When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
