Hi, Tyler!
I am excited you are looking to
book a sailing with Disney Cruise Line. From the first magical grand welcome as you enter the ship, up until the final wave goodbye to the crew, you will be treated like royalty during your time at sea.
Port Adventure bookings, dining reservations at Palo, and
port arrival times are dictated by when a guest is paid in full and their booking window opens. Guests who book at the Concierge Level and guests who have a
Castaway Club status of Pearl (25 or more completed cruises) will have the first opportunity to secure bookings. Guests who are first time sailors will be the final group to make selections, so there really is no guarantee on what will be available.
Let's start with the beach cabanas at
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and
Castaway Cay. Cabanas are consistently in high demand and very hard to secure. You will be able to continue to check availability, and even join the waitlist when boarding your ship, but demand is definitely higher than the supply. The good news is that both of these islands are loaded with chairs, umbrellas, and swaying palm trees so your day will be no less magical if you do not get a cabana. Even towels are provided as you head out to the beach for the day.
You will find that many excursions you are looking for will have a very large booking capacity. While I cannot confirm your first choices will be available, there is a very good chance you will be able to get the Port Adventures on your wish list. I suggest booking them online prior to your cruise for best selection, but you may also stop by the
Port Adventures Desk while onboard your ship.
Tyler, hakuna matata, no worries! You are in for a magical sailing with endless activities for the whole family. Download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App so you can keep up with all the fun happening during your cruise. Bon Voyage and we look forward to seeing you real soon!
Cathy
