I am interested in booking the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience for my daughters 5th birthday at Magic Kingdom Park, but don’t see any times available for June 15th. Was wondering if my daughter can still be turned into a princess without a reservation?

    Hi Melissa!

Welcome to planDisney!  Thanks for stopping by with a great question as you plan to sprinkle a bit of pixie dust on your daughter's birthday!

Melissa, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park is one of the most popular reservations at Walt Disney World Resort.  While reservations often fill very quickly, I encourage you to keep checking back.  Guests sometimes have a change in plans and I've found advanced dining and some Enchanting Extra reservations open up just days before my visit.  You may also want to check out The Grand Floridian Spa which offers services for children as well including a Magical Makeover and children's manicures and pedicures.  While the experience isn't exactly the same, it's still a chance for a bit of pampering on her special day.  As an added bonus, you could even book a service with her and enjoy manicures or pedicures together!

If you are unable to reserve a spot for her royal makeover at one of these locations, there are a few other options available. First, children under 14 are welcome to wear a costume into the parks so your daughter can come dressed as a very special birthday princess regardless of whether or not you have a reservation at the boutique.  All guests can stop by Sir Mickey's, located near the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and request a "pixie-dusting" which will add a little touch of magic to her day!  You'll also want to pick up a special "Happy Birthday" pin from your hotel or one of the parks to wear throughout your visit so everyone can join in her celebration!

Another option for celebrating her birthday in royal fashion is to check out a character dining experience.  There are a few princess-themed dining options available including Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park, 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at EPCOT, and Storybook Dining at Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. These are all great choices and I'm sure any of them will leave her feeling like she is truely a princess!

Melissa, I hope these ideas help you plan a birthday that is extra magical for your daughter!  If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop by and see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
