Interested in booking a back to back cruise on the Wish! Will we have to pack up and disembark though? Or will we be able to stay onboard in our same stateroom? Thanks for any help.

Ahoy Jamie - welcome back to planDisney!

It's been a while since we've seen you sailing these waters and I'm so glad to see you back with another question for our team of panelists!

Guess what?! I just booked back-to-back sailings on the brand-new Disney Wish this coming January! It will be my first time on two consecutive sailings and I'm so excited to have this new experience. I checked in with some friends who have already had these experiences and am happy to share the details with you, Jamie!

First things first, you will likely need to disembark the ship in between sailings. The details depend on what your stateroom situation is. If you've been able to book the same stateroom on each of your two consecutive cruises, you usually don't have to pack up at all! You'll simply disembark for a brief time, and then will be among the first Guests ushered on board for your second sailing. So, long story short, if you can book the same stateroom on both sailings, that's definitely a great thing to do! You can always contact a friendly Cast Member to help you plan your magical back-to-back sailings in the same stateroom.

If you are moving staterooms, you'll simply pack up your luggage and leave it in your first stateroom. Your stateroom attendant will move your belongings to your new stateroom for your second sailing - how convenient! This can also be a nice way to experience different Decks or stateroom categories, so don't necessarily focus on trying to stay put in one stateroom! For our back-to-back sailings, we're staying in a Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah for both sailings, but will be in a Concierge-level stateroom for our 3-night sailing, then moving to a standard stateroom for the following 4-night sailing.

Jamie, keep in mind that these procedures are always subject to change, so please pay attention to the information provided to you during your sailing. Swim on by with more questions any time!
