Hey there, Trika. I'm so glad you've stopped by
planDisney to chat about possibly becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. I've been one for years now and I can honestly say it is well worth the initial investment!
The Walt Disney World Annual Pass program is a per-person ticket that allows access to the magic all year long. If you don't live in Florida, which I am pretty sure that you don't, you have one option for a Walt Disney World Annual Pass - the
Disney Incredi-Pass.
Here's what the Disney Incredi-Pass entails:
- Admission to one or more Walt Disney World Theme Parks for 365 days with no blockout dates
- Hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time with a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay
- Complimentary standard theme park parking
- Discounts on select dining and merchandise throughout the year
The Disney Incredi-Pass is the highest tier of Walt Disney World Annual Passes. This is the one I currently have and absolutely love it. The current pricing for the Disney Incredi-Pass for people ages 10 and up is $1299 + tax per pass. On the check-out page, you'll also have the option to add on Disney PhotoPass downloads for $99.00 + tax for the year and the Water Park and Sport option for an additional $99.00 for the year if you'd like.
When you purchase your Walt Disney World Annual Pass, you have a year from that purchase date to activate your pass. Activating simply means using it to enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park. Once it is activated, that expiration date changes and you have one year from your activation date to enjoy all the benefits of your Walt Disney World Annual Pass. When it comes time to renew, you can do this 60 days prior to your expiration date or up to 30 days after. There is a discount to renew your annual pass but it's hard to give you an accurate price because the Walt Disney World Annual Pass prices tend to change a bit each year and the discount is reflected off of that. I will say that I renewed in July and my renewal was $1104 + tax so almost a $200 savings off of the original price tag.
The
Walt Disney World Annual Pass website does a great job of breaking down all of the information I just gave you if you want to take a look over there. I know the initial price tag can be a bit of a shock. But, if you plan to go to Walt Disney World a few times within a year time period, it is worth it. The discounts on food and merchandise really add up.
I hope this helps, Trika. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have a great day!
