Hi Kristian!
It looks like the Evening Star is shining bright in your life! I am so happy to see you planning a trip the Walt Disney World Resort!
Grab yourself some gumbo and gather your crew. You need all hands-on deck to get started. First, take a look at the
Disney Resorts Collection to determine which resort hotels you might enjoy. Review the types of rooms and amenities at each resort hotel to see which ones might work best for your family.
Once you pick a few resort hotels, then check the
Special Offers to see if there is an offer that is applicable to the dates of your visit. If there is, it should appear when you search for
vacation packages online. After you compare vacation package prices with a few resort hotels, decide which one will be best for your budget and make a reservation.
After reserving a vacation package, log into
My Disney Experience to link that vacation package to your account. To do so, click on My Plans after you login. Then click on Add More Plans. And then click on
Link Reservations and Purchases. If you do not have a My Disney Experience account, create one as soon as possible. Use the
My Family & Friends List to add folks who will be traveling with you. If folks have a My Disney Experience account, you can enter their name and age and then send them an invitation to connect. Or you can create managed profiles. I use those for my children so I manage all of their plans.
Once your vacation package is linked in My Disney Experience, you should be able to login, go to My Plans, find your reservation details, and you should be able to make a payment. If not,
contact a Cast Member by phone for assistance. Just pay attention to the balance due date so that you pay off your balance in time.
As you consider how to plan your days, think about making
advanced dining reservations. Even though our girls are older, we still do a few character meals. Two of our favorites are breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort and any meal period at
Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Finally, we always take a look at the
Enchanting Extras Collection to see what additional magic we might add to our trip.
Kristian, carry on with the fabulous planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
