Can you interchange magicbands among family members?

    Hello, Sayda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Unfortunately, you cannot switch MagicBands with family members. Each MagicBand has a 12-digit ID number that is associated with only one Guest's My Disney Experience account o it cannot be shared between Guests. Not only will you touch your MagicBand to a Mickey touch point, but also scan one finger to gain theme park admittance. Last year my husband and I used our Sorcerer Mickey MagicBands and when he scanned his finger it did not match! Thank goodness the Cast Member noticed we were wearing matching MagicBands and asked me to scan my finger just to see. Sure enough, he had mine, and I had his! So it is not possible to switch between family members because they are uniquely associated with only one Guest.  However, you can certainly have multiple MagicBands active for one person. If you are like me, you may want to coordinate your MAgicBands with your outfits!

I hope this answers your question! Please let me know if you have additional questions as you plan your magical visit!
