Welcome to planDisney, Justin.
I see that you have planned a trip to
The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most magical time of the year! The festive fireworks, holiday parades, and spectacular Christmas trees will make your Christmas cheer soar to infinity and beyond.
EPCOT has got some of my favorite rides in Walt Disney World.
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure has me grinning from EAR to EAR.
Soarin' Around the World is paradoxically relaxing and exhilarating! And I simply cannot wait for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. However, an attraction that easily gets overlooked is
Mission: SPACE. This is seriously as close as I'm ever going to get to blasting off to space! The great thing about this attraction is that there are two intensity levels. The Orange Mission is very intense and therefore you should only choose this option if you're in good health and free of high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated. The last time I did the Orange Mission I felt quite claustrophobic at one point and thought, "Mmmm, I think I need to do the Green Mission from now on."
The Green Mission is far less intense and is more family-friendly. You don't get the same kind of movement and there is no spinning. I'd still say it's more intense than Soarin' Around the World. However, I suspect you'll be up for the challenge.
This past December, I really enjoyed the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. One afternoon, I walked around World Showcase tasting
delicious dishes and learning about the holiday traditions of different cultures. The highlight, though, was watching the
Candlelight Processional. It was awe-inspiring!
You're going to have a magical time, Justin. May all your dreams come true.
