Hey there, Amy! Welcome back to planDisney!
While your visit may be months away, it’s never too early to start researching which attractions you’ll want to experience on your visit. There is usually a new show or ride, or some magical addition to the theme parks, and this year,
there is a lot to get excited about!
Ride intensity is often a matter of opinion, so what may be a thrilling adventure to one guest could be a leisurely experience to another. I consider the big drop on
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to be pretty intense, but I’ve always preferred dark rides over thrill rides. Regardless of personal opinion, though, Walt Disney World classifies Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as a thrill ride and includes the following health advisory:
“WARNING! For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.”
You can see which other attractions have a healthy advisory by going to the
Walt Disney World Rides & Entertainment page and selecting the “Health Advisory” filter found by selecting the “Accessibility and Advisories” button. You can find this information on the
My Disney Experience mobile app by going to the map and selecting the “Attractions” button (the star icon). From there, tap the filters button (the small circle with lines in it) and scroll down to “Physical Considerations,” where you’ll find the Health Advisory filter.
I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Amy. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have more questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
