Welcome to planDisney, Patrick!
Let me begin by saying that you've come to the right place. Planning a Disney vacation can be quite overwhelming. However, my planDisney pals and I are here to help fellow Guests plan their next magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you search the
planDisney website you'll discover a treasure trove of tips, suggestions, and expert advice. You can also follow us on
Instagram or listen to our
monthly podcast.
Patrick, when folks are looking for advice on where to begin, here are my top tips:
First, I always encourage people to stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Disney Resorts truly immerse you in the magic from start to finish with their unique storytelling, fabulous theming, and world-class customer service. There are also loads of
magical benefits available to Guests, such as Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort, dining reservation advantages, and more!
Second, I recommend that people research some of the
brilliant restaurants at Walt Disney World. Make a note of the ones you'd most like to visit. One of the many benefits of staying on property is the ability to make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your trip plus the length of your stay (up to 10 days). Since restaurants fill up quickly, this means that you are far more likely to book a table.
Third, if possible, try and visit each of the four theme parks during your visit. That might mean getting the Park Hopper Option on your tickets or getting a 4-Day Ticket. There are four theme parks and two water parks on property. Each park is delightfully magical in its own way and I trust you'll fall in love with each one.
There are a few options when putting together a vacation package:
1. You can price up and even book a vacation through the
Walt Disney World Resort website.
2. You can
speak directly to a Cast Member, who can help you plan a vacation that accords with your budget and needs.
3. You can find an authorized Disney vacation planner. There are many no-fee agents who are experts at helping Guests plan their next Disney adventure. A simple search on Google should help you find one.
I hope that's helpful, Patrick. Please stop by again if you have any other questions, or if there is any other way we can help you.
See ya real soon!
Mike
