We intend to purchase waterpark annual passes. Does the year begin the date they are issued or does the term not begin until the first time we activate them? Thank you.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kali!

Get ready to grab shell when you visit a Walt Disney World® Resort Water Park, because they're "righteous!" And as a Water Park Annual Passholder myself, I am excited to be answering your question.

When purchasing your Water Park Annual Pass, your 12 months of tubular fun will not begin until the day you first visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach. Even if you purchased your passes today, they will not be activated until they are actually redeemed.

Did you know just two visits to a Walt Disney World® Resort Water Park covers the cost of your pass for an entire year's worth of splash-tastic fun? It really is a great value.

I hope this help, Kali! Please do not hesitate to "slide" on over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for any additional questions you may have.
