Instead of a 3 room suite at old key west are there any 2 seperate rooms available but close to each other? March 10- 17

    Hi Gene,

Welcome to planDisney!  It sounds like your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner –– you'll be checking in before you know it!

While the 3-Bedroom Grand Villa at Disney's Old Key West Resort is perfect for traveling with a large group, booking multiple 1-Bedroom or 2-Bedroom Villas is also a great option. Like the 3-Bedroom Villas, these rooms boast a fully-equipped kitchen, in-room washer and dryer, and separate sleeping areas, so your party can expect the same great amenities, no matter which room type you choose.  We traveled with a party of eight during our most recent Walt Disney World Vacation and chose to book two 1-Bedroom Villas –– it was the perfect solution for our family!

If you're booking reservations on the Disney Vacation Club website, you won't be able to specifically request rooms that are near each other, but there are several steps you can take to achieve this.  After booking your reservations, give Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800 and have a friendly Cast Member make a note that you'll be traveling as a single party and would like accommodations as close together as possible.  Then, once you arrive at your resort, stop by the Front Desk to make sure that everything looks correct with your room request.  While I can't guarantee that your specific request will be available, I can tell you that Cast Members work hard to make magic for their Guests.  I've always had great luck requesting room locations this way –– often, we even end up with rooms that are right next door to each other!

While you're finalizing the details of your upcoming trip, now is the perfect time to book advanced dining reservations for all your favorite restaurants during your stay.  Since you'll be staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort, you'll be close to one of my favorite (and in my opinion, underrated) breakfast spots at the Walt Disney World Resort –– Olivia's Cafe.  If you're looking for something sweet, do yourself a favor and order the Banana Bread French Toast!  YUM!!!

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Gene!  If you think of any other questions as you plan your upcoming vacation, please feel free to stop back by!
