Hi there, Rodney!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney Cruise Line vacations are such a wonderful family adventure; from Youth Clubs to adults-only restaurant experiences, everyone is sure to have a great time!
You can most certainly opt for the first dinner seating and take your kids to the
Youth Club when they have finished their meal and are ready to play! In fact, your main dining room servers will even expedite delivery of kids’ meals so that they can eat and scoot on to the club! We do this a lot when cruising – kids get fed and then they also get to go play and my husband and I can finish our dinner together! Do be sure to check with your server though so that your little one doesn’t miss any of the fun entertainment during some of the dinners. Additionally, dinner is also served in the Youth Clubs, if you want to enjoy an adults-only dinner at
Palo or Remy.
When your
Online Check-In window opens, you can register your child for the Youth Club and then when you arrive to the port for check in on embankment day, you can pick up their Oceaneer Band at that time. The
Navigator app will have a listing of entertainment and activities for the week, and you can mark favorite activities to ensure that you don’t miss those opportunities in the Youth Clubs or around the ship.
I know that you will have a wonderful and memorable time aboard and I wish you many magical memories – and quiet(ier) dinners!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
