Hi Krysten,
It's so nice to hear from you again! I've used many devices to capture Disney memories over the years. On my first Walt Disney World Resort vacation, my dad captured hours of cherished footage on his camcorder. On our honeymoon, my husband and I took turns taking pictures with our point and shoot camera. These days, I leave most of the hard work to
Disney PhotoPass photographers.
The
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules do not prohibit the use of instant cameras in the parks. In fact, I think it's a great idea to make instant memories during your park days. Just make sure you have a place to keep your precious memories flat and protected. My first thought is that you could keep them between pages of an autograph book.
While we're on the topic of capturing memories, did you know you can ask any Disney PhotoPass photographer to take your picture using your camera? Disney PhotoPass photographers are found throughout the theme parks wearing bright green and are some of the nicest Cast Members you'll meet. If you are particularly impressed by one, spread some pixie dust by using the
My Disney Experience mobile app to leave a Cast Compliment (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's homepage > scroll to "Cast Compliment").
I hope this information helps you plan for picture-perfect park days, Krysten. If you have any other trip-planning questions,
you know where to find us.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
