For instance, if I don’t want to have dessert on my Table Service dining plan credit, but we want an appetizer that costs more than the dessert option allows, can we pay the difference & use dessert portion of our credit?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mariah! I’m sure your vacation is just around the Riverbend, and just like Pocahontas, you want to take the new path with Grandmother Willow!

If you aren’t into sweets or just want something savory with your meal, don’t worry! Many guests use their Disney Dining Plan purchased with their Magic Your Way Vacation Package. You can substitute a dessert for a small salad or appetizer at many Table-Service restaurants. You’ll just want to speak with your server when they arrive to take your order. I’m sure you will tell them that you’ll be paying with your dining credits, as they will guide you through the menu to see your choices.

Don’t forget to make your advance dining reservations as soon as the 180 days in advance mark comes around. Must-have restaurants like Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table are among the first to get snapped up. We’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
