Hey, howdy, hey, Katherine!
A special vacation to the Disneyland Resort sounds like a
rootin' tootin' good time! Now that you've come to planDisney, let's ride like the wind as you prepare for your magical visit.
Normally, information about
hotel rates and Vacation Packages for the following year will be released sometime around August of the current year. That release schedule has been a bit delayed as the Disneyland Resort proceeds through its
phased reopening. Perhaps
Dr. Porkchop and One-eyed Bart have been up to their evil ways again. "
Oh, I hate all this uncertainty!"
Hopefully Woody and Buzz will save the day soon! I would recommend keeping an eye on the Disneyland Resort website over the coming weeks. Also, note that theme park ticket sales and Vacation Package bookings are currently suspended until further notice. Watch the
Disney Parks Blog for news and information when it comes available. I can't wait!
When your desired dates are available to be booked, here is how it will play out:
- Booking a hotel-only stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel requires only a deposit in the amount of the first night’s rate. The remaining balance for your stay is not due until your arrival at the hotel.
- Booking a Vacation Package that consists of only theme park tickets and a hotel room requires a fixed deposit that is currently only $200. Note that prices are subject to change. There is no installment plan required and there is no interest to pay! You may make as many payments as you’d like. Or you can wait until the balance of the vacation plan price is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
- The deposit for your Vacation Package may be greater, depending on any add-ons you choose. You may purchase airline tickets, travel insurance, excursions to select Southern California destinations, and other magical extras.
Tony’s Tip: One way we save on our Disneyland Resort vacations is by collecting
Disney Gift Cards. We purchase these
handy gift cards at a discount from our local Target which happens to be one of the
first to host a Disney Store inside. Disney Gift Cards can be used to pay for Disneyland Resort Hotel stays, theme park tickets, and Vacation Packages. And, of course, they are valid for
dining and
shopping at most Disneyland Resort locations.
Thanks for coming by planDisney, Katherine. I hope you visit again if you have any more questions about your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!
