Hello there, Carylee! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by to ask us a question.
I love to hear that you are hoping to have a park day with your grandchild. Theme park tickets are available for purchase in person at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths. However, no matter where you purchase your tickets, you will still need a theme park ticket reservation for that day to enter the park. So if there are no reservations available on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, it doesn't matter where you purchase the ticket because you will not be able to make a reservation and therefore not be able to get your grandchild into the parks.
October has been a very busy month with reservations filling up fast. I recommend checking the Theme Park Ticket Availability Calendar often. I've had luck a time or two getting a last-minute reservation late the night before when the reservations were booked previously. However, if you still don't see reservations available late the night before or before I suggest you look into a different day. We would hate for you to get all the way to Disneyland Resort to not be able to get a reservation. This also would mean as a Magic Key holder that you would be considered a no-show.
I checked the calendar and I see plenty of reservations available later in the week and throughout November.
Holidays at Disneyland Resort kick off on November 11, 2022. It's sure to be a whole lot of magic and you will still be able to see Haunted Mansion Holiday as well!
Carylee, I'm sorry I don't have better news for you or that there was something else I could do. I do hope you are able to find a time that you can bring your grandchild for a day of fun.
Carrie
