Are all inside stateroom walls on The Disney Wonder metal or are only the doors & ceiling metal? I'm trying to plot some organization tricks to make the most of our space.

    Ahoy Candace,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us another great question!

When my little guy was, well, “littler”, one of his favourite toys were those magnetic blocks that you can snap together to build different types of structures. He would drag those things EVERYWHERE, including on our Disney Cruise Line voyages. Well, I’m sure you can imagine his delight when he realized that, when he stood on the bed in our stateroom, he could hang the blocks from the ceiling AND even the walls!!

I’m happy to confirm that, thanks to my son’s experiments with magnets (and gravity) during our cruise aboard the Disney Wonder, at least one wall in your stateroom should be magnetic. I’ve seen Guests do all kinds of creative things with that wall; one of my favourites was seeing someone hang all of their Minnie Ear Headbands on one side of their wall. If you have magnet hooks, you should be good to go too, but please remember that adhesive hooks and over-the-door hanging organizers or hooks are prohibited

I hope my answer helps you make the most of your stateroom during your upcoming cruise! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
