Hi Sherie! Thanks so much for visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Even though you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you are still considered a Walt Disney World guest! So hop on and off buses, boats, ferries, and Skyliners (once they open).
All guests who are visiting the theme parks, Disney Springs, and water parks have access to the complimentary transportation system. You will need to park at the Ticket and Transportation System. From there, you can ride the Monorail to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. While you're on
Disney's Boardwalk, you can cruise on the Friendship boats around Cruise Lake.
There are times when my family doesn't stay at a Walt Disney World resort, but my little ones demand that we take a ride on the nearest water transportation. I think our favorite boat ride is from
Disney Springs to Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside. The view from the ferries heading back to Disney Springs is breathtaking.
We've also done a transportation challenge. We see how many modes of
Disney transportation we can take during one visit.
Have a magical time making memories! If you have more questions, please feel free to visit with us again soon!
