Hello, I have another inquiry. I have been reading about lightning lane. How important it is to have it and how much per person? 2 adults and a 9 year old . Where to purchase it? Thank you

Welcome back to planDisney Filipinas! Thanks for reaching out with your great question. I'm excited to help you! How wonderful that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You’re sure to create some amazing memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Whether you need Lightning Lane Passes at Disney World depends on your priorities and the time of year you're visiting. Lightning Lane access can be a valuable time saver, especially during busier periods.

Disney has recently revamped its Lightning Lane system, replacing Genie+ with two new options: the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and the Lightning Lane Single Pass. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to pre-book up to three rides per park for a specific date before your visit. You can choose one top-tier ride and two from a larger selection. Once in the park, you can continue booking additional rides after you've used your initial selections. This pass is ideal for people who want to avoid long lines for popular attractions and want to plan ahead. Lightning Lane Single Pass is for high demand rides such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, which isn't included in the Multi Pass. You can purchase up to two individual passes per day for these rides.

Guests staying at Disney Resorts can book up to 7 days in advance, while others can book 3 days ahead.

Some of the benefits of Lightning Lane Passes includes avoiding long wait times. Lightning Lane allows you to bypass the regular standby line for many popular attractions, significantly reducing your wait times. You're also able to maximize park time. If you have limited time at the parks, like some families do on some trips, Lightning Lane can help you experience more attractions.

The price varies depending on the day, demand, and season. It typically ranges between $15 and $35 per person, per day and is subject to change. It’s worth evaluating if you want to minimize waits or prefer a more leisurely pace.

Filipinas, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
