Hi there, Susan!
Welcome to planDisney. You've got just about 10 days until your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! I'm glad to hear that you are looking to get all your Disneyland ducks in a row to ensure a smooth arrival. I'm happy to help you clear your path to the magic.
There are three main
parking locations at the Disneyland Resort: Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and the Toy Story Parking Lot. All three typically open 60 minutes before the earliest standard theme park opening time for the day. I'd recommend taking a look at the
Park Hours to help you determine an arrival time that works for you. It looks like both Disneyland and California Adventure are scheduled to open at 8:00 AM on your park day, so I would anticipate the Toy Story lot opening around 7:00 AM. You'll want to allow plenty of time to take the shuttle to the Main Entrance Esplanade and go through security. If you like to rope drop and be one of the first Guests to your favorite attraction, I would recommend rolling in just after 7:00 AM.
To make the process even more seamless, you can
purchase your parking voucher ahead of time and just scan the QR code with the Cast Member at the gate upon arrival. Parking vouchers are valid for 24 months from the purchase date, so if you don't end up using them on this trip, they have quite a long runway before they expire!
Susan, I'll leave you with one final pixie-dusted parking tip! One of my favorite features in the Disneyland App, which I have come to rely on, is the
Car Locator. Truly, a time saver if you've ever wandered around Mickey and Friends Parking Structure wishing you had made a note of which character and row you parked in! I know, for me, when I arrive, I am so full of excitement I often forget to log where I've parked, which can lead to some unmagical moments at the end of the night. You'll want to ensure that Location Services are turned on on your phone. Once you've parked, open up the Disneyland App, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, select "Car Locator" followed by "Save Vehicle Location". And just like having your own magic wand, your vehicle location is stored safe and sound until you're ready to head out of the parks!
I hope this has been helpful in your planning! If you have any questions or want to chat about all the fun festivities happening for the 70th, we love talking Disneyland here at

Magic awaits!
