It's my In-laws 50th wedding Anniversary, next year (2013)- Yeah! They would like all the family to meet at Easter at Disney (FL) at Easter? Need a place to stay & tickets for 2 grandparents, 8 parents, and up to 11 grandkids? HELP! Must plan quickly!

    Hi!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

The first step is probably making a determination if everybody will be staying at the same resort.  There's really no reason to do that, especially if all of the anniversary "events" will be at a theme park or at a resort hotel nobody is staying at.  Disney resort hotels can be divided into:
    • Disney Deluxe Villas
    • Disney Deluxe Resorts
    • Disney Moderate Resorts
    • Disney Value Resorts

There are Disney resorts for all needs and budgets.  After you know where guests are staying, you do need to make Advance Dining Reservations, especially for meals when the entire group wants to dine together.  Reservations are critical for Table Service (full service) restaurants and are hard to get for large groups.  You will need to call the restaurants directly for such a large group.  If guests will break up and dine in smaller group the reservations can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

You might want to work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.  He or she is a travel agent that specializes in trips to Walt Disney World, to Disneyland, with Disney Cruise Line, and with Adventures by Disney.  Most offer their services for free and most have experience working with large groups.  Just be sure to look for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
