My In-laws are taking my family of 5 to Disney in November. My daughter will be using a DAS pass. Are we able to include my group of 7 ( my husband and myself, 3 kids, mother and father in-law) on that pass? If we get Genie + can we use that with the DAS?

    Hello, Angie!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you were able to find us and bring your important planning question to us here at planDisney. I am thrilled that you are planning to visit later this year. The 50th Anniversary Celebration will still be going strong during the upcoming holiday season. This will allow you to enjoy the holiday snacks and treats as well as the specialty 50th Anniversary cocktails, entrees, and treats available in the 50th Anniversary Sips & Bites Guide

Disney’s Disability Access Service or DAS helps Guests who cannot wait in a conventional attraction queue. This will allow your daughter to wait in a location where she can be comfortable until her DAS return time. You can renew or apply for DAS with a Cast Member through a virtual chat 2-30 days before the arrival of your first park day. Once DAS is approved, a Cast Member will also work with you to choose 2 one-hour return times, per day for select attractions. This is in addition to the self-selected DAS requests you can make in the My Disney Experience mobile app once you arrive.

You will want to make sure that everyone in your travel party is linked to your My Disney Experience on your Family & Friends list. Everyone will need to have a valid theme park ticket linked to their My Disney Experience account and a theme Park Pass reservation for each day you plan to visit a theme park. Your daughter can have up to 12 people on her DAS Guestlist, but only 6 Guests, including your daughter, are permitted to request and board a DAS eligible attraction.

Disney Genie+ can be used by any Guest who would like to use this service to skip the standby line and use the Lightning Lane to enjoy an attraction with a shorter wait. Currently, the fee for this service is $15 per person, per day (subject to change). This service can be added to your ticket at the time of purchase or in the morning on the day you plan to use it. You will use the My Disney Experience mobile app to reserve experiences for everyone in your party to enjoy. You could save DAS for the attractions that your daughter specifically wants to ride or an experience that may not have any available Lightning Lane return times. Using both services will allow your group to save some time while enjoying your favorite attractions.

If you have any more questions regarding Guests with disabilities please reach out to the Disability Services team at (407) 560-2547 or send an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
