My in-laws will be joining us for our trip in October. We are sharing a Room but My husband and I are wanting to purchase a dining plan but my in-laws are wanting to pay for their meals out of pocket. Can we just purchase a dining plan for 2 instead of 4?

    Hi Katie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney dining plans are a great way to pay for your dining expenses prior to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation so you can enjoy a carefree trip. If you add a dining plan to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation, all Guests over 3 years old on your reservation must be on the same dining plan and will receive dining credits. So unfortunately, if you add a dining plan to your reservation it will be for all four Guests in your room. If you are interested in taking advantages of the budgeting advantages of the dining plan, one good alternative to budgeting your dining experiences is through Disney Gift Cards. You can purchase Gift Cards prior to your trip and then use them to pay for meals during your trip!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
