My inlaws, husband, S(6) and D(4) are staying in POR-FQ in mid Feb. What building should I recommend - min walking distance to bus, pool etc but relatively quiet too.

    Hi Jane,

Port Orleans French Quarter is a great resort.  It's compact with only 8 buildings including the main services building, making it the perfect size for a lot of guests.  While you're there, remember that you can also enjoy all of the services and amenities at Port Orleans Riverside.  You can walk between the two or catch the boat.  I personally like the pool at Riverside better because it's water slide is much longer.

Buildings 2 and 5 are nearest the pool complex.  Buildings 1, 6, and 7 are a relatively long walk from the French Quarter main services building (front desk, food court, bus stop), but they are the most peaceful.  I guess a room in Building 4 on the side facing Building 7 would be a good compromise!

By the way, the boat to Downtown Disney is very relaxing!  I recommend it, especially at night if it's not too cold!

    Have a magical vacation!
