I recently returned from my trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, where I could play with the complementary services
Disney Genie provides, such as creating itineraries for your party after you’ve chosen your preferences, as well as current wait times for lines, as well as predicted wait times! I also got to play around with the
Disney Genie+ service, which, as you know, is an additional purchase. This helped us maximize our time at the parks since we could choose the Lightning Lane entrance, one at a time, for several attractions!
It's quite alright that your in-laws don't have a smartphone, Shelby! Although at this time, Guests do need to have the
My Disney Experience Mobile app on their phone to take advantage of the Disney Genie+ service selections, if anyone else in your travel party has a phone with the app, they can connect with your in-laws through the
Family & Friends list, and would be able to make those plans for them. This includes both the Lightning Lane selections and joining the Virtual Queues. The My Disney Experience Mobile app will give the owner of the phone access to choose all the party members they are linked with to make plans for them.
I would absolutely recommend you link your awesome group of 10 through your
My Disney Experience accounts so that you can all get Lightning Lane selections as well as the Virtual Queue access together. If you’re connected, you will be good to go!
