My in-laws are celebrating their 40th anniversary by taking the entire family to wdw. There are 5 kids and 8 adults. Where do you recommend that we eat for some place to celebrate? Is there anything pluto related we can do? My mother-in-law LOVES pluto.

    Jillian:

It sounds like breakfast at the Polynesian Resort or a meal at Epcot's Garden Grill should be ordered up so that your mother-in-law can enjoy a photo op of her own with Pluto. I'm a fan of the Garden Grill with its all-you-can-eat, family-style meal of sliced beef filet and turkey with salad, mashed potatoes and vegetable sides. You won't be able to make the dining reservation online, so plan on calling 407-939-6463 (DINE) to book.

Even though your meal comes with cobbler for dessert, I'd recommend splurging on a custom cake from Disney's cake hotline at 407-827-2253. You'll press 3 for Epcot restaurants. Just follow the instructions on the recording to order. They aren't open on the weekends and hold regular business hours, so I recommend ordering at least a week ahead. My favorite cake is their Mickey Head Cake, best of all, it's both delicious and a good value.

Wishing y'all a magical vacation and a memorable birthday!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
