Hi, I had initially reserved the Donald character Breakfast at Tusker and then change it to the River of Lights Dinning Package for 3pm. Would the characters still be there for my kids to see or should I book separate a breakfast time for that? Thank you!

    Hi Christine,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can imagine how excited your kids are to see Safari Donald Duck and friends at Tusker House Restaurant!

Although character experiences could change, Tusker House Restaurant currently offers a character experience throughout the day. We dined there on our last visit for dinner and were tickled to meet Safari Donald and Daisy Duck along with Mickey Mouse and Goofy in their best expedition attire.

We also did the Rivers of Light Dining Package on our last visit with that Tusker House reservation. At dinner, we received tickets that gave us access to the reserved area for guests with the dining package. Although there is reserved seating, I still suggest that you arrive at least 20 minutes early for the show. We sat in the third row and the view was terrific. I have also seen this show from towards the back of the amphitheater. I would sit closer if you have little ones with you so that they can see the details in the show.

Christine, on that visit we had a 2-year old sitting behind us who narrated parts of the show - he was super excited and it was so cute! While at Disney's Animal Kingdom, be sure to take an expedition on Pandora - The World of Avatar. It is breathtaking!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
