    Hi! When initially booking our upcoming vacation, we decided against purchasing Memory Maker this time. Now we've changed our minds and do want to get it. Do I just purchase it through MDE and then link it to our MagicBands? Thanks!

    Hey Bethany! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Although we take advantage of Memory Maker on each of our visits, we typically don’t purchase this when we book our vacation package. We love Memory Maker because it allows the whole family to get in on the pictures instead of someone (usually me) getting stuck behind the lens! I have found that now I am more apt to put my camera down and really experience all of the magic just as my kids experience it! One of my favorite photos was captured as my then 18 month old daughter was running down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. We were all so caught up in the moment that we didn’t even realize that this photographer was taking the pictures! I will be forever grateful for this photographer!

    When you purchase Memory Maker through you’re My Disney Experience account it should link right to your MagicBand. I encourage you to take advantage of purchasing early as it will save you $20 when you purchase in advance!
