Hi there, Jesus. First and foremost, I think I can speak for the entire planDisney family when I say how sorry we are to hear about the passing of your family member. We are sending our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you and your entire family.
While
theme park tickets are technically nonrefundable, in extenuating circumstances like yours, I would recommend calling the
Guest Services team and speaking to a Cast Member directly. You can reach them at (714) 781-4636. I'm hoping that with their special batch of pixie dust, they will be able to guide you to a solution that works for your family.
What I can share with you is that the tickets you are currently holding are valid for quite a long time. Tickets purchased this year do not expire until December 30, 2023 for single-day tickets and January 12, 2024 for multi-day tickets. While I know it must be incredibly difficult to imagine enjoying some time in the magic right now, it's just something that I wanted to put on your radar in case you find yourselves needing some light at the end of the tunnel down the line. Additionally, the
value of an expired, wholly unused ticket can always be put towards the purchase of a new ticket if you are unable to visit before expiration.
Jesus, I'm sure you have a winding journey to peace and healing for your family, but I hope this helped alleviate some of the logistics of your trip. Know that the magic will always be here for you when you are all ready to return. If you have any more questions, please feel free to reach back out to us at
planDisney.
With a song in our hearts,
Tara
