Hi Nicola!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's a pleasure to assist my fellow Guests from the UK, and I'm sorry to see you may be thinking of cancelling your holiday. I empathise, as I've cancelled two of my Walt Disney World trips for this year. Without knowing the exact details of your booking I cannot give you exact details of the Terms and Conditions of cancelling your trip. Please call the Walt Disney Travel Company International on freephone UK number 0800 169 0730, and have your booking reference handy. I'm sure they will be able to give you full details of the current cancellation terms. It is possible you may lose your deposit if you cancel a trip that hasn't officially been cancelled by Disney, but again, this is something the knowledge and friendly Disney Cast Members will be able to clarify for you.
At this time, prior to the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience. Please read this information about
Returning to a World of Magic and keep your eye on any new posts from the
Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.
Theme park reservation - the new Disney Park Pass system - will be required for every day you wish to visit a Walt Disney World theme park. This is in addition to your admission tickets, so as soon as you have purchased your tickets, please ensure you have set up your My Disney Experience Account and linked both your tickets and your Disney Resort hotel reservation, to your account, then you can go ahead and make your Disney Park Pass reservations now. Reservations can be made up until September 2021. The information to be found in
Parks and Tickets: Know Before you Go explains this new system in detail.
We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit. Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share. Come back and ask as many questions as you like! We are always happy to help you plan your holiday.
Sue
