Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Susan. Thanks for dropping by to chit-chat about your upcoming vacation plans.
Since the start of this year, Susan,
Walt Disney World no longer provides complimentary transportation to and from the Walt Disney World Resort to the Orlando airport. Now, you'll need to find your own transportation. Luckily, there are many options to choose from. I'll list out a few below that will hopefully give you some ideas.
- Rideshare services. Rideshares are plentiful around the Orlando area. I've used this mode of transportation myself from the airport and I find it very convenient.
- Rent a car. You can rent a car directly from the airport but keep in mind you would need to pay for parking at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you happen to be staying at.
- Shuttle service. Mears is the company that Walt Disney World used to contract out the Magical Express. When their partnership ended they started their own thing called Mears Connect. While I've not personally used this service, I know a lot of people have and it seems to have good reviews.
- Hiring a car service. You can do a quick internet search to turn up several companies that will pick you up at the airport and then take you back again. The vehicles to choose from are like Towncar, SUV, passenger vans or even a limousine!
As you can see, you have a lot of options to choose from when getting to your magical vacation. I'm sure there is a perfect solution that is going to fit your needs.
If you have any other questions about this, or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Have fun!
