Why hello there, Princess - I'd like to wish you a very Royal Welcome to planDisney!

First off, I want to begin by saying how surreal of a moment this is wherein a Prince has officially come to the aid of a Princess in a very modern, yet still very Disney way. Snow White did sing the Someday a Prince would come, and I would be delighted to help you plan today! I'm so glad to hear that you're interested in getting started towards your Walt Disney World Resort journey, so if you're ready to begin and let the wonder take hold - here's some information that I'm happy to bestow upon fellow visiting royalty:

As Cinderella said, a Dream is a Wish your Heart makes; start by dreaming up your perfect vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort website.
While they used to send out pre-planning materials in the mail, I spoke with a Guest Relations Cast Member who informed me that this was only Once Upon a Dream and unfortunately no longer the case.
A great way to jump right in and be Part of this World is by downloading the My Disney Experience Mobile App and exploring everything there is to offer.
If you want Adventure in the Great Wide Somewhere, you can still have complimentary information and brochures mailed to you from Disney Cruise Line, Aulani Resort, Adventures by Disney and Disney Vacation Club.
Unlock a Whole New World online by watching entertaining and informative official Disney Parks videos that will introduce you to the things you may experience on your upcoming visit.
Like water, the information available to guests is Always changing, Always flowing. Be sure to keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website and the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date news.
You're already on the right track by asking questions and getting some answers from the planDisney team; if we can help anyone have a great first experience at a Disney Destination it would definitely Bring Honor to us All.
