Hiya, Shelby! I'm so glad you found the trail of pixie dust that Tinker Bell left for you and followed it back here to planDisney!
It sounds like you're starting to gather information in order to make plans to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! Shelby, sometimes I think I love planning for my vacation to Walt Disney World Resort almost as much as I love being on vacation! There's so much to plan for, from which Disney Resorts Collection hotel you'd like to stay in, to the current offerings for
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration. I'd love to help you begin making your magical plans. Let me just grab my magic wand...
Got it! As my pal Peter Pan says, "Here we gooo!"
While there currently isn't an option to have information mailed to you (partly due to
sustainability goals and conservation efforts), there are lots of great places to start your planning right at your fingertips online! Here are a few great first steps:
- Create a My Disney Experience account. In fact, it would be great for all adults in your travel party to create their own My Disney Experience accounts! This is the best way to manage your travel party, make advance dining reservations, and view your plans all in one place.
- Take a peek at Disney Resorts Collection hotels that may interest you. There are so many great benefits to staying at a Disney Resort hotel, such as the Early Theme Park Entry which allows you to magically enter the parks 30 minutes before official park open!
- Decide what kind of theme park tickets would be right for your trip. This includes how many days of tickets you'd like for your trip, if you'd like to include the Park Hopper Option, and if you'd like to upgrade to the Disney Genie+ service.
- Purchase a vacation package for your family. You'll be able to pick both your Disney Resort hotel and theme park tickets!
- Make your Theme Park Reservations with the Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step after you purchase your theme park tickets, so the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip are reserved.
- Take a look at all of the incredible dining options available to you! You'll be able to enjoy delicious food in immersive atmospheres. Consider one of the character dining locations for your twin girls, too!
- Make your advance dining reservations 60 days prior to your arrival date. This is a great way to bring the magic right to you!
- Make sure that you grab an "I'm Celebrating" button for your twin girls from the front desk of your hotel and wear them proudly for your entire vacation!
Shelby, I hope this was enough information to get you started! If you have any other questions, please visit us again.
Your Fairy Godmother in Planning,
