Hiya Leisa,
Welcome to planDisney! As a mom of two little Mouseketeers, I love using
Memory Maker and the incredible PhotoPass photographers to capture my littles each trip. Just watching how much they’ve grown from their very first trips to now is so special, and the photos are such a fun way to relive the memories.
Great question about Memory Maker, Leisa! I usually do Memory Maker for my entire vacation, but you will be happy that there is an option to purchase Memory Maker for one day of your trip. I used to buy this option frequently before my littles were born because we knew we weren’t going to take that many pictures during our trip. To purchase Memory Maker for One Day, open your
My Disney Experience mobile app and navigate to the menu (the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner). Scroll until you see “Disney PhotoPass” and “Shop Memory Maker.” Click shop and you will see an option to purchase Memory Maker One Day. Once purchased, you decide what day you want the photos from by activating it (tapping on any image from the day you’re in your photo gallery and selecting the option to activate your Memory Maker). Activating your Memory Maker gives you all your photos from 6 am EST the day of activation to 5:59 am EST the next day.
I hope this was helpful, Leisa. Before I let you go, don’t forget to have everyone in your group linked to your
Family and Friends list before your trip. Even with a One Day Memory Maker, you will be able to access and download the photos of anyone in your Family and Friends list (up to 25 people) during your activation period (even if you aren’t in the photo). One last thing: make sure to download your photos before they expire (which is 45 days from when they were captured); otherwise, you will not be able to do so after that point.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
