I see that there is information on when the parking areas open. When do the parking areas close to guests visiting the parks/downtown Disney?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Vaughn!

As you've found, Disneyland Resort theme park parking opens 60 minutes before the earliest regular opening hours of either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park each day. While operational needs may vary from day to day, parking at the Toy Story Parking Area, the Mickey and Friend Parking Structure, the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, and the Downtown Disney District Simba parking lot generally close one hour after the latest closing time of either of the theme parks. In my experience, that has always been plenty of time to take care of any last-minute shopping on Main Street, U.S.A., Buena Vista Street, or World of Disney before finally conceding that our visit to The Happiest Place on Earth must come to an end.

Tony's Tip: If you are an overnight Guest of one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels and are arriving earlier than normal check-in time on your first day, I recommend parking at your resort hotel. It won't cost any extra for those few hours. And it will save you from having to move your car at the end of the day. If you should arrive extra early, you may even be able to take advantage of the early theme park entry benefit for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests if your theme park reservation for that day is for the park opening earlier. Since the hotel parking areas are open 24 hours a day, it's even possible to park your vehicle before the regular theme park parking areas open to Guests. With convenient access to theme parks for onsite hotel Guests, you could be on your way to fun and adventure in no time.

"You've got a friend in me," Vaughn. If you've got any more questions about visiting the Disneyland Resort, I hope you'll visit us here at planDisney again soon.

    "To infinity and beyond!"
