Information on making reservations at RV Park at Disney World

    Hi there, Stella.

I'm really glad that you've stopped by planDisney to talk about planning a camping trip at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. I stay there several times a year, Stella and it is so much fun! I think you'll really enjoy it too.

To make a reservation at the campground, Stella, you have a few options. You can visit the official webpage for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. On the right-hand side of the screen, you'll see the option to "Check Availability" and you'll want to click on that. From there, you'll select the number of guests in your party and the dates that you would like to stay there. After you've input all of that information it will show you what campsites are available and you'll have the option to book from there. If you would rather speak to someone in person you can also call and have a Cast Member help you find availability and book the reservation for you. The number you'll need to call is (407) 939-1936. I see that you would like to stay at the campground over the holiday season later this year. This is a really popular time to visit Walt Disney World and the campground can fill up pretty quickly. If you are for sure on your travel dates, I would call or make your reservation online as soon as possible so as not to miss out.

When you are staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, you are going to need a way to get around because the campground is really big. There are so many fun things to see and do but it is all pretty spread out. I would highly recommend renting a golf cart while you stay there. You can rent directly from the campground and it's a really simple process. They rent out a year in advance so right after you make your reservations, I'd go ahead and call 407-WDW-PLAY and reserve yours that way it is all taken care of.

Stella, I hope this helps get you started on reserving and planning a stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. If you have any other questions along the way, I'd love for you to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Happy camping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
