Hi William! I had to look twice at your question since you asked about dump sites but I believe you want to have information about camp sites. Although when you have an RV you do understand about "dumping" which is something every vehicle must do every so many days.
So let's start with that. All of the
Campsites at Fort Wilderness will have sewer hookups. You do not need to go to a different location to do your dumping as you connect right into the sewer from your site. This of course makes it extremely easy to spend many days in the Fort which is what we do every fall.
Now I will share information about camp sites. There are three categories: Preferred, Full Hook-up, Premium. The Preferred sites are the loops that are closest to the marina and Pioneer Hall and they were the original loops. Their sites tend to be much shorter and are not as suited for the larger RV's. The Full Hook-up loops will be the furthest from the amenities but are very nice loops. The sites themselves will have about a third of the pad in sand and many campers love this as they can put a tent in easily. The last category of the sites is the Premium and these are the newest and longest concrete sites there. They are perfect for the bigger rigs and they also have heavy and better picnic tables. The loops are centrally located and these are probably the most popular to reserve.
There are also two loops dedicated to campers with tents and small pop-up vehicles. These sites will have picnic tables and grills as well as water and electricity and cable as the other sites have.
If you have any more questions about the great Fort Wilderness please don't hesitate to ask me personally as I am the one who spends a great deal of time there. This resort has become so popular it is necessary to book a reservation far in advance. Holidays are very crowded as well as weekends.
