What information do you have on Easter 2024? Dining, Church services

    Hi Laura!

Thanks for hopping on over to planDisney to talk about your EGGciting Easter vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!  It's a great time of year to visit the parks so let's spring into action and talk about your plans!

Laura, so far we haven't had any official announcements on the 2024 Easter plans for Walt Disney World Resort.  I channeled my inner Mama Odie and decided to "dig a little deeper" into the archives of the Disney Parks Blog.  Here I was able to see that there were two articles about Easter celebrations around the resort that were published mid-March last year.  The Foodie Guide to Easter 2023 highlighted some special treats around the parks and resorts.  This also included an announcement of a special Easter brunch at Steakhouse 71 at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  The second article featured some of the beautiful chocolate egg displays created by talented culinary artists around several hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection.  These have been favorites for guests year after year and I'd encourage you to be on the lookout for them again this year during your visit.  I didn't see any mention of church services in the articles from last year and also chatted with a friendly Cast Member who shared that she has not seen or heard anything about services for this year yet.  As you get closer to your visit, definitely keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and official Disney Parks social media, such as their Instagram page, for the latest updates and releases.

It's been several years since I've visited Walt Disney World Resort for Easter weekend, but I remember seeing the Easter Bunny at Magic Kingdom Park and have heard of continued appearances in recent years.  Keep an eye on your My Disney Experience Mobile App during your visit and maybe you can hop on over to spot him!  You can easily check character greetings each day by selecting the location icon (second from the left) on the bottom navigation bar and then changing the drop-down at the top from the default "Wait Times" to "Characters."  Click "Show List" on the upper right and then you'll have an easy view of everyone meeting around Walt Disney World Resort that day including times and locations!

The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will also be in full bloom during your visit.  I love exploring the beautiful topiaries around the park, but I think I enjoy visiting the Outdoor Kitchens even more!  Did you know that there are two scavenger hunts during the festival?  These are a perfect way to celebrate the spring season and even have a prize at the end.  One of them is the Egg-Stravaganza Hunt where you can search all around EPCOT for hidden eggs!  I've included a video here that highlights all of the fun of an EPCOT scavenger hunt.

Laura, I hope this is helpful as you continue planning for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to hop back over to planDisney and ask me or my panelist pals - we're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
    Kristi
