Ahoy James!
I’m so excited to hEAR you plan on booking the upcoming Disney Vacation Club Members only voyage on the Disney Wish! Like you, I cannot wait to make a reservation for the Disney Wish, especially after watching the Grand Reveal last week. If you missed it, you simply MUST watch
this replay. I was simultaneously cheering and crying at the same time viewing all the amazing new spaces and imagining being back at sea with Captain Minnie.
Setting sail on June 14-17, 2022, this Disney Vacation Club Member cruise on the
Disney Wish will be the second voyage EVER for the ship and will take Guests to Disney’s private island,
Castaway Cay. You will be in some elite company there!
The Disney Vacation Club website sets forth some
specific rules regarding this exclusive Member cruise. As a Disney Collection Exchange opportunity,
at least one person in each stateroom must be booked on points. Other Guests can make cash payments. The Points Charts will be released on May 13, 2021, followed by pricing for purchasing this and other Disney Wish sailings on May 17th, 2021.
May 17, 2021 is the magic date for Disney Vacation Club Members to book their Disney Wish Member Voyage. On that day, Member Services will be available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST, and will be dedicated to only booking reservations for this cruise (and for Disney Wish sailings for Platinum Castaway Club Members with 25 or more sailings). To book with points, Disney Vacation Club Members need to contact Member Services at 1(800) 800-9800 or (407) 566-3800 starting at 8:00 A.M. EST. For a cash-only booking, Members will call 1(866) 325-6348.
Here are a few tidbits specific to this Member cruise booking. First, a non-refundable $95 transaction fee applies to any confirmed Disney Collection reservation. Second, Guests will be called within 72 hours of completing their booking to arrange payment. Disney Vacation Club reserves the right to cancel the reservation if payment is not received within 72 hours following this call.
Get organized now by having the following information ready when making your reservation: Legal Name, Birth Date, Home Address, Citizenship, Member ID Number, and Castaway Club Number (if applicable). Additionally, go ahead and have some idea of your preferences regarding
stateroom category. Disney Cruise Line suggests having at least three choices available just in case one or more categories is no longer available. Also, at the time of booking, please let them know if you have any special dietary or medical needs.
James, I hope this information helps you sail away with a reservation on the Disney Wish! Feel free to chart a course back to planDisney if we can lend an assist in your vacation planning.
SEA ya real soon!
