information about disney transportation from Port Everglades to airport

Ahoy there, Meissa! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney - I'm so glad you found us. It sounds like you're getting ready to set sail on a magical voyage with Disney Cruise Line, and I'll be happy to lend a helping hand with some logistics to get all of your (Daisy) ducks in a row. Let's dive right in!

As DCL continues to expand, an increasing number of cruises sail out of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My most recent cruise departed from this port, and it is really easy to navigate - especially if you use the DCL ground transportation!  On debarkation day, we were directed to a comfortable shuttle just outside the cruise terminal, and from there it's just a short trip to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The shuttle is also a great choice if you're traveling with little ones, as you don't need to worry about car seats as you would with rideshare or a rental car.

Meissa, if you've already booked your cruise, it's easy to add ground transfers. You can do this through the DCL Navigator App, the website, or by calling DCL at least three days before your departure. There is a charge (currently $29 per person, subject to change) and I wholeheartedly think it's worth it for the convenience - it makes that departure day a breeze!

I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes! If our planDisney crew can help with other questions as you're getting ready to head off to where the sky meets the sea, please come back and see us anytime. We're always here to help!
