Ahoy, Donna! And welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you're looking to plan a Disney Cruise Line vacation this December! There's nothing like a Very Merrytime Cruise on any itinerary where it's offered - where else can you see snow in the Bahamas and see a life-sized gingerbread house while sailing on the deep blue sea?
Disney Cruise Line vacations are practically perfect in every way, if you ask me, but there's definitely a lot to plan for, so I'm glad you're looking for all the information you can get! While "back in the day," I'd suggest ordering a planning DVD - or even VHS - nowadays,
these types of videos (and an e-brochure) can be found in a slightly-off-the-beaten-path link in the website footer! Beyond that, I'll give you my three best "planDrew-approved" tips for getting the most information out of the Disney Cruise Line website and beyond!
- You can't go wrong by starting with the "Why Cruse With Disney" section of the website. Whether you're looking to see everything that's included, are trying to convince a "Disney Cruise skeptic," or need to show a tween or teen how much fun they'll be able to have without the adults around, it's a treasure trove of highlights and what to expect on your vacation!
- Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Cruise Line section of the Disney Parks Blog! I've loved staying up-to-date on all the latest information about the Disney Wish, but they've also got loads of information about all the ships, special events, itineraries, destinations and more!
- Not to toot our own ship's horn, but planDisney is always a great place to find the answers to your questions! Not only are there literally thousands of questions and answers to browse, but videos, extras, and we even have a podcast! And if you still have questions after exploring the site, you're just a few clicks away from dropping us a line and asking us your specific question!
Well Donna, I hope that gives you a few more headings to help you chart a course for adventure on the high seas! Thank you so much for your question, and if any others bubble to the surface, you know where to find us here at planDisney!
Fair winds, following seas, and happy planning!
Andrew
