Typically, I’ve always been with my family for pictures, but sometimes they venture off and find their own adventures. In my experience, if the family members are linked to your My Disney Experience mobile app and they scan their
MagicBand/ticket with the
Disney PhotoPass Cast Member, the photos should flow into your app so you can download them (if you have MemoryMaker).
As a precaution though, your family members can ask the Cast Members for a Disney PhotoPass card on the days you’re not with them. The Cast Member will then scan that card during the photo and once you input the code from the card into the app, you’ll be able to see and download those pictures. This way you have a back-up plan if the first option doesn’t work for any reason!
